Teleco a leading provider of voice data and video products has introduced the first digitally operated, trouble-shooting technology, Perfect Watch.
The system is aimed at a cross-section of manufacturing applications - including the food and beverage segments - and allows trouble-shooters to see problematic events occurring on a processing line, from anywhere where there is an Internet connection.
Perfect Watch is comprised of four small digital cameras that work interactively with strategically placed sensors. By digitally capturing the 'before and after' of triggered events on up to four machines, the system identifies the cause of any problem, which can boost productivity and limit the number of personnel required.
The constant recording feature enables the system to capture five seconds of pre-event footage. While this footage is being stored the system is simultaneously storing video that it is currently taking place. The pre-event footage identifies the problem source.
The system has remote visual access that enables off-site support technicians to identify potential production problems. This means that once the problem is detected, it can often be corrected remotely, creating what the company calls "a proactive approach to cost savings and increasing plant production".
Perfect Watch is designed to comply with business security requirements. The use of multi-level password security restricts unauthorized personnel from altering or accessing confidential data.
The system includes four digital cameras, touch screen controls, a Central Processing Unit, CD burner and video burner. There is also the addition of software for remote access, if required.
