Danish brewery group Bryggerigruppen has teamed up with Rexam Glass Holmegaard to produce bottles for its new brand of alcoholic beverage, FROC. The brand's name is short for Fine Ready-made Original Cooler.

Rexam Glass Holmegaard is producing a 33cl flint bottle for the drink, and also applying pressure sensitive labels (PSL) at its in-house decorative services operation. The bottles feature clear labels that give the bottles the appearance of screenprinting.

In addition to displaying standard product information, the labels depict a frog which gives FROC its vibrant image, and special ink effects which the company believes add character to the bottle. A high quality, specialist ink is used in the area surrounding the FROC frog, which shines when exposed to halogen lighting.

In addition, the ink is used to produce a smaller, slightly inconspicuous frog on the bottleneck label. This is one of several specialist print effects offered by Rexam Glass, which can add an extra dimension to glass decoration.

FROC is a malt-based alcoholic drink available in lime flavoured FROC Ice, and a lime & rum variety of FROC Brazil. The manufacturer claims that the drink offers consumers a less-sweet alternative to similarly positioned products, and is aimed at 20 to 35 year olds. The beverage is yet another entrant into the ever-growing flavoured alcoholic beverages (FABs) market.
