Little’s adopted the jar after “experiencing difficulties” with its European supplier.
The jar is lighter than the previous glass the firm used for coffee, offering “cost and environmental benefits,” said Little’s.
Little’s range of flavoured instant coffees includes rich hazelnut, french vanilla and spicy cardamom.
“The lead time from initial enquiry to production was just four months, so this has been a very quick turnaround,” said Charlotte Taylor, marketing manager at Beatson Clark.
“It was essential that we were able to guarantee continuity of supply so we have worked very closely with Little’s, responded very quickly and tried to be as flexible as possible in order to produce the jars on time.”
