CSB-System provides Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), process planning software that maps material and information flows, as well as business processes for food and beverage manufacturers.
This allows control over master data, procurement, inventory, production, bottling, efficient picking, requirements planning, sales, traceability, quality management and laboratory information systems.

For instance, German firm Haus Rabenhorst – vitamin-fortified juice Rotbäckchen is its most well-known brand – uses CSB-System ERP software to plan logistics, purchasing and sales, production, marketing, controlling and finances.
Other tools marketed by the company include a Process Planning System (PPS) and CSB-Rack – an industrial IT workstation for automated data capture that can be used in a manufacturing setting.
Speaking to us at Foodex 2014 in Birmingham, UK, Paul Griffin, international business development director, CSB-System International, said the company has first built up its business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He insists its proposition is unique, and believes it stands out from the company.
“I’ve been in the food industry for 25 years, and I’ve not seen another international company that integrates from ERP all the way through the production process into machine control," he said.
“And, in the case of say beef or pork, from the farm to the way through to the retailer, in one fully integrated system,” Griffin added.
