Turbo Charge Your Liquid Technology: Beverage & Dairy Treatment 2015

Today's the big day! It's our free-to-access online event on Beverage & Dairy Treatment technology, which will include speakers from big names Zenith, Meiji, LiDestri Food and Beverage and Refresco-Gerber.

You can still register for the event here. It starts at 2.30pm London time today, 9.30am New York time.

Demand for higher quality, longer-lasting juices, smoothies, teas, dairy-based drinks and other healthy beverages is driving beverage brands and fillers to invest in new processing and packaging technology.

Organised by BeverageDaily.com and DairyReporter.com, Beverage and Dairy Treatment 2015 explores breakthrough processing technologies including HPP, aseptic/ESL.

We’re also joined by high pressure processing (HPP) pioneer Andrew Gibb (above left), MD of Coldpress, who will tell us about his brand’s acceleration globally and in the UK following a late 2013 listing with Tesco, shining light on the mistakes he made in the early days with HPP and barriers to uptake.

Stefani LiDestri, chief marketing officer of LiDestri Food and Beverage, Inc, in the United States, will also explain why she thinks LiDestri can shake up a stagnant US juice aisle with healthier, more nutritious products in more exciting packaging – after a significant recent investment in aseptic filling lines from Tetra Pak.

Finally, a roundtable discussion featuring Marcel Janssen, group manufacturing director at Refresco Gerber (Europe’s largest private label soft drinks bottler) and Richard Walton (below) R&D manager at Japanese dairy giant Meiji Co., will discuss to what extent process technology is driving ‘hot’ new product categories.

What are the packaging implications of a particular process choice? Will ‘premium’ aseptic become the new normal? And how will recent bottle/cap sterilization advances in ESL/aseptic shakeup the market.
