Elopak has been the company’s packaging partner for several years and launched a 500ml Mini Pure-Pak Diamond carton last year with a redesign depicting a mountain scene to reflect the idea of a ‘back-to-nature’ product.
True North Spring
Andrew Reynolds, president, Ice Box Water, told Elotalk, Icebox is filled at source in Canada and co-packed by True North Spring.
“Our packaging helps us to deliver a transparent product that is simply clean, pure and great quality water,” he said.
“We had consumer feedback on social media and from our stores calling for the mini pack for example, from mothers who wanted a lunchbox-size Icebox.
“We would welcome the opportunity to bring Icebox to more consumers and expand beyond America and to build partnerships in Europe.”
Water Resources Group
Owned by Water Resources Group, Iceboz water was first launched in 2007 in response to what it claims was rising consumer demand for more environmentally sound packaging.
Reynolds added Icebox is about both the product and the package which is in an eco-friendly carton which is 100% recyclable.
“The BPA free pack is the best alternative to the plastic pollution that results in billions of bottles ending up in landfills,” he said.
According to Reynold’s Icebox liked the high quality print of Elopak’s carton which allowed it to ‘raise the level’ of its image and standout on the shelf.
“Elopak is dedicated to improving the footprint and sustainability of the Pure-Pak carton and this resonates with our ethical and environmental standings,” he added.
