Sacmi Beverage division appoints former Sidel chief as GM
Sacmi Beverage was set up in 2009 and covers all areas concerning the design and manufacture of machines and complete plants for beverage packaging.
Paini has extensive international experience in product development and global sales coordination previously working for Sidel.
Bernardi led the division for nearly five years strengthening its role as global partner to the industry while exploring new business avenues, including the recent acquisition of Defranceschi Italia, in the wine-making sector.
As head of the Closures & Containers division he will focus on integrating the various stages of container production, from preform to bottle.
Giuseppe Lesce, currently general manager of the Closures & Containers division will take on the role of GM of the newly-formed Customer Services Division, a unit that Sacmi has established to coordinate the SACMI network and develop aftermarket services for all group businesses and divisions.
