Invisible Sentinel has launched a real-time PCR platform and assay to detect Lactobacillus and Pediococcus.

Veripro, the real-time PCR technology platform, is based on Veriflow technology and integrates molecular diagnostics, antibody and probe design and immunoassays.

Veripro maintains the robustness and speed to results of the Veriflow platform but uses real-time PCR’s ability to multiplex and has capacity for high throughput analyses.

BrewPRO is a risk management system for detecting the two beer spoiling bacteria.

The system is capable of analyzing raw materials, in-process and finished beer and has been validated for non-enriched and enriched samples.

Brewers can test at any point during the production process and choose the sample preparation protocol that suits their needs.

The product launch marks the evolution of the company’s brewing product portfolio launched in April 2015 with brewPAL.

Invisible Sentinel said its portfolio of detection tools are used by more than 250 breweries worldwide.

Nick Siciliano, Invisible Sentinel’s CEO and co-founder, said brewing partners were seeking Veriflow technology in a higher throughput, multiplexed platform using real-time PCR instruments.

“The feedback from our various validation partners has been tremendous, and we’re excited to provide brewers with a new tool to make the best beer possible. We expect widespread adoption of this technology by both macro and craft brewers alike.”
