The ingredients include roasted coffee, Kahlúa liqueur and a dash of grain vodka, and the smart nitrogen widget forces bubbles to the surface as soon as the can is opened, to create the Espresso Martini creamy foam.
Colin Kavanagh, VP, global marketing, Malibu & Kahlúa, said coffee culture is booming around the world and it is seeing an increased demand for cocktails at home.
“We developed the Kahlúa Espresso Martini can to tap into this emerging opportunity," he added.
The Kahlúa Espresso Martini can is available in two versions, 4.5% ABV and 7% ABV.
Romina Mariano, project lead and global brand manager, Kahlúa, which was created in 1936 in Mexico as a coffee liqueur, said the packaging will appeal to consumers looking for an entirely new experience but also the on-the-go convenience sector.
