US-based wedding registry and e-commerce company Zola has teamed up with Diageo to develop a line of cocktails kits and gifts for the summer wedding season.

In the partnership, Diageo is showcasing its Ketel One Botanical series, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, Tequila Don Julio and Johnnie Walker. There are two customizable kits available on the Zola website, delivered with Cocktail Courier.

The ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid’ option features the ingredients for a Ketel One Botanicals cocktail, designed for brides to give to bridesmaids. Each box contains mini bottles of the Ketel One Grapefruit & Rose, cans of club soda, citrus and garnish.

The ‘Zola Paloma’ can be used by wedding party guests gifting to the couple and vice versa. It uses mini bottles of Tequila Don Julio, mixers, citrus and garnish. Both kits retail for $40 each.

Amy Schmidt, director of strategic partnerships at Diageo, said "The bar is an important wedding moment that can sometimes be overlooked, and we hope to help inspire couples with myriad of ideas for special experiences and gifts with our new partnership with Zola."

Other wedding registry additions from the Diageo partnership are bottles of Tequila Don Julio 1942, Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Bulleit 10 Year Old. Shoppers can customize the bottles with personal engravings and gift cards.

Diageo is also offering a big-ticket wedding day perk with the opportunity to rent the Diageo Experience Vehicle Reservation Service--two different styles of mobile drink carts ideal for wedding receptions. The trailers do not include alcohol, mixers or a bartender in the rental fee.

The Blade and Bow Horse Trailer is “a 1970’s era two-horse trailer repurposed as a custom mobile bourbon and cocktail tasting experience,” which "tells the full story of Blade and Bow Bourbon through a gallery wall showing the Stitzel-Weller Distillery history, the Solera aging method of bourbon and the brand home’s tie to horse racing," according to Zola.

The Bulleit Bourbon Woody cart focuses on Bulleit whiskey, and Zola said "The brand's full line of award-winning whiskeys all use a distinctly high proportion of rye grain to other mash bill ingredients, which gives them their distinctive bold, spicy taste."

"Designed with authenticity in mind, the exterior is crafted from darkly stained quarter sawn white oak, the roof is made from aluminum with fasteners of stainless steel. The chromed handles are reproductions of vintage car handles from the late 1930’s."
