Going global: BrauBeviale gears up for 2020 events in Italy, China, India and beyond
2020 is shaping up to be a busy year: with these events putting the spotlight on different markets before the flagship event returns to Nuremberg in November (November 10-12, 2020).
Beviale Moscow 2020: March 24 - 26, Moscow
Increasing beverage consumption in Eastern Europe is putting increasing demands on the supply industry. Consequently, there’s significant growth in small and medium-sized beverage manufacturers who are commanding a growing market share, including a significant increase in craft beer breweries. There’s also increased imports of processing and packaging machines from abroad.
This year, Beviale Moscow boasted 164 exhibitors and welcomed 6,239 trade visitors from 47 countries. The trade fair returns in 2020, covering the entire process chain from manufacturing to marketing.

Craft Beer Italy 2020: Milan
While Italy is often considered a wine country, beer consumption in Italy is actually higher than wine consumption.
It produces almost 16 million hl of beer every year, and features a lively craft beer scene. There are already 900 craft breweries and brew pubs.
Held in Milan, Craft Beer Italy covers everything from technology and raw materials to marketing, with a trade floor and conference programme.

Craft Beer China 2020: May 13-15, Shanghai
China is the world’s leading beer nation: producing 450 million hl annually. Meanwhile, exports from China are increasing at 7% a year. There’s also a steady increase in the number of craft breweries: currently at around 3,000.
Craft Beer China 2020 will include seminars on key trends in the Chinese craft beer industry, as well as sharing experiences from abroad. Craft brewers will share the latest brewing technologies, while investment institutions have also been invited to provide contacts for local craft beer projects.
The show will be accompanied by a beer tasting event, the 2nd Chinese Craft Beer Star Award, Cicerone Flawed Beers Course and much more.

Beviale Mexico 2020: July 29-31, Guadalajara
Mexico is home to 124 million consumers, whose purchasing power is constantly growing. It is the leading consumer market for bottled water worldwide and the fourth largest beer producing nation (90 million hectolitres and more than 1,400 breweries).
The country is also known as the home of tequila, which is seeing a rise in demand in the US and worldwide. Tequila production has been growing at 3.5%, with more than 3.1 million hectolitres produced.
Beviale Mexico will make its debut next year, covering the Mexican specialities of tequila and mezcal alongside all other segments: water, soft drinks, juice, beer, wine and spirits. It will include a congress the day before the trade show opens.

Craft Drinks India 2020: July 1-2, Bengaluru, India
With 1.3 billion inhabitants, India is one of the largest future markets for consumer goods. While global beer volumes are stagnating, in India the beer market continues to grow at 3% annually. Meanwhile, the market for alcoholic beverages is one of the five fastest growing industry sectors in the country.
Craft Drinks India is India’s first and only comprehensive trade show and conference conceived to cater to the production needs of the beer, wine & spirits industry.
The international event debuted last year in Bengaluru, and will return in 2020. It is jointly organised by PDA Trade Fairs and NuernbergMesse, organisers of the Beviale cluster of beverage events.
