The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years

Eight food and drink manufacturers have been included in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list for growing sales in 2019.

Brewers BrewDog and Beavertown made the list alongside food-to-go chain the Real Wrap Company.

In addition, Tarquins Cornish Gin, Warners Distillery, pizza manufacturer Ooni and fish processor Marine Products were also featured.

Fastest-growing sales

The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years. It is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each December.

Ooni Pizza finished highest in the list in 7th place, with a rise in sales over the period of 148.13% to around £10m.

Warners Distillery followed in 12th with a rise of 131.13% to £10.8m. Tarquin’s Cornish Gin finished in 29th position, with growth of 85.3% and sales of £5.1m.

Food-to-go

Food-to-go manufacturers Real Wrap Company finished in 37th place with growth of 76.5% and sales of £9m. Nutritional snacks and drinks brand Grenade has again been recognised, for the sixth consecutive year. With an average sales growth of 73% over three years and growing to £44m last year, Grenade is dominating the market and has been placed at number 39 in the league table.

Brewdog and Beavertown were listed in 57th and 58th place. They showed growth of 56.5% and 56.3%, with sales of £171.6m and 19.5m respectively.

Marine products was listed in 66th position with growth of 52.9% and sales of £26.9m 

Last year, Scottish seafood supplier D R Collin & Son was the top-ranked food or drink firm in this year’s Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100, the league table of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits.
