According to Marcin Fijałkowski, group operational excellence/Investments officer, Canpack Group, the fully printed, high resolution can extends the brand experience for the consumer and will allow products to stand out on retailers’ shelves.
120 end designs
“Until now, beverage companies could only brand their products across the body of a can or extend the branding to the top of a can in small batches,” he said.
“This changes that, allowing companies to mass produce cans with up to 120 different end designs that continue to the top of the can in one batch.
“This ensures consumers experience the product’s marketing from the moment they spot it on the shelves, to the moment they take a sip.
“By extending the marketing message, this design increases product awareness and ensures consumers will remember the brand for future purchases.”
With a range of colors and styles, companies can choose the can end that is best for them and their brands.
Metal closures
The packaging can be either in one color or a range of colors or include dedicated designs printed in high quality images. With the possibility to print up to 120 can end designs in one production run, meeting demand for mass customization.
Canpack, which is located in Krakow, Poland, (part of Giorgi Global Holdings), is a global manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans and packaging for the food industry including glass bottles and metal closures, employing approximately 8,000 people worldwide.
