Scottish craft brewer BrewDog has opened an alcohol-free beer bar in London this week: with a view to rolling the concept out across the UK and Europe.

The BrewDog AF Bar offers 15 taps of draft alcohol-free craft beer, as well as alcohol-free spirits and an alcohol-free cider. It will be the first of the company’s global bars to feature a line-up solely devoted to drinks without alcohol.

BrewDog’s Nanny State beer – which has been in the market since 2009 and has become the UK’s best selling alcohol-free craft beer – will be on sale at the bar, as will Punk AF. The brewer will also sell two new additions called Wake Up Call (a Coffee Stout) and Hazy AF (an alcohol-free take on its existing New England IPA, Hazy Jane).

The bar also serves food, including brunch at the weekend, and will also feature a programme of activities including Hip Hop Karaoke, Dabbers Bingo, Famous First Words and others.

Situated in the Mews Unit of the Bower Development at 211 Old Street, EC1V 9NR, the bar is open 12pm-11pm Sunday to Thursday and 12pm-11:30pm Friday and Saturday.

BrewDog will also be running ‘Drink All You Can Jan’ across all its bars, which offers unlimited free refills of BrewDog alcohol-free beers.
