Anheuser-Busch hard seltzer brand BON V!V has launched a new flavor, Raspberry Dragonfruit.

The flavor was created in partnership with BON V!V and the brand’s Creative Advisor, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Following limited releases in Los Angeles, San Diego and Salt Lake City, Raspberry Dragonfruit is now rolling out nationwide.

“With zero grams of sugar and a light and refreshing taste, BON V!V Raspberry Dragonfruit comes dressed to impress in a new sleek can design wrapped in metallic pink and donned with Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ signature - exclusive to the new flavor,” says Anheuser-Busch.

“Raspberry Dragonfruit is the latest addition to BON V!V’s Blends Variety Pack alongside fan-favorites Pear Elderflower, Clementine Hibiscus and Coconut Pineapple.”

Sunny D Raspberry Lemonade

Sunny D is debuting two flavors in the US for the summer season with classic Lemonade and new Raspberry Lemonade.

“A bold, refreshing take on a classic summertime staple, Sunny D’s fan-favorite Lemonade is returning to grocery shelves for a third consecutive summer after nearly selling out in years past,” explains Ilene Bergenfeld, Chief Marketing Officer, Harvest Hill Beverage Company.

“Raspberry Lemonade is making its debut as a new twist on the popular tangy-but-sweet lemon sip.

"Our limited edition summer flavors have consistently been a big hit with Gen Z, and doubling down on two lemonade options that are synonymous with summer adds a special excitement for the season.”

Both flavors are available while supplies last at retailers across the US such as WinCo, Food Giant and Hy-Vee in 64-oz. multi-serve carafes. Like other SUNNYD flavors, Lemonade and Raspberry Lemonade contain Vitamin C and come in at 60 calories per eight-ounce serving.

Resealable canned spirits

Salt Lake City’s Simplicity Cocktails has debuted its new premium canned vodka and bourbon line-up featuring resealable cans: marking its entrance into the spirits market and claiming to be the first in the US to use resealable cans for canned spirits.

Both spirits are available in Simplicity’s sleek 355ml, 12-ounce can and equipped with the resealable lid.

“The unique lid improves other outdated resealable cans, with an easy lift and slide back lid that allows for a smooth pour, to then reseal, making it the perfect addition for any active lifestyle,” said Chris Weed, Co-Founder of Simplicity Cocktails. Two 12-ounce cans are equivalent to just over a standard fifth of spirits and eliminate the burdensome glass packaging and the often-added step of pouring the spirits into a flask for transport.”

Founded in 2018, Simplicity Cocktails now has 11 canned cocktails and two canned premium spirits.

The new bourbon and vodka lines are first available for purchase at Simplicity’s storefront in Salt Lake City, expanding to state liquor stores throughout the year.

Clipper Teas, the natural tea brand owned by Ecotone UK, is expanding its range of organic infusions.

The three new flavors joining the range are:

  • Organic Bring the Zing – an infusion of zesty lemon and peppery ginger
  • Organic Cleanse with Benefits – an infusion of fresh citrus with sweet anise-inspired fennel
  • Organic & Fairtrade Restoring Roots – an infusion of spicy ginger and warm turmeric

“Each flavor matches up to a key health and wellness consumer trend, with Organic Bring the Zing appealing to customers looking for an energy boost; Organic Cleanse with Benefits aiding the metabolism and Organic & Fairtrade Restoring Roots appealing to shoppers seeking comfort through a warming hug in a mug,” says the brand.

“Carrying Clipper’s distinctive and joyful tone of voice, the pack designs feature vibrant, playful illustrations and bright colors to stand out to the growing audience of infusion tea drinkers.”

Nitro hard tea

vital-sign.jpg

Stormalong Cider LLC, a Massachusetts-based cidery, has launched a ‘first-to-market’ brand of nitro hard teas made with high-quality loose leaf tea and real fruit: called Vital Sign.

“Instead of using cane sugar as an alcohol base, Vital Sign uses apples and grapes that are fermented and distilled to yield a clean taste. And instead of using tea powders, extracts and chemically concocted ‘natural flavors’, Vital Sign combines real teas with real fruit and juices,” explains the brand.

“The teas are also nitrogenated, a first in the hard tea space, to give them a nice creamy mouthfeel without excessive carbonation.”

The teas used are custom blended and sourced from Boston-based loose leaf tea importer MEM Tea.

Vital Sign’s 4.5% ABV nitro hard teas will be available in 12 fl oz sleek can 4-packs and range between 110 to 120 calories per can. There are three flavors; Jasmine Citrus, Mango Passionfruit, and Blood Orange Yuzu.

"We wanted the teas to be quite simply refreshing and delicious, without the mystery ingredients and flavors found in the malt based products of the ‘hard seltzer’ craze," says the brand. "Many other hard tea/seltzer brands in the market are made with tea concentrates, cane sugar, citric acid, and so called natural flavors. We wanted to create a product that actually tastes like the unique teas they are made from without sacrificing on flavor or quality.”

Nescafé is launching its Nescafé Gold Iced range in the UK ready for the summer months: featuring Iced Cappuccino and Iced Latte Salted Caramel.

Laura Branch-Parker, Senior Brand Manager for Nescafé Gold Frothy Coffee at Nestlé UK and Ireland, said: “We have seen a huge growth in the popularity of iced coffee in cafés and coffee shops as people look for a delicious, refreshing iced frothy coffee on the go. With our new launch, coffee fans can now enjoy a mouth-wateringly delicious, coffee-shop style iced coffee at home!”

The new Nescafé Gold Iced coffees are available in sachets and can be made at home by adding cold water and ice. An Iced Latte Salted Caramel contains 53 kcal while an Iced Cappuccino comes in at 57 kcal.

The new Nescafé Gold Iced range is rolling out to major retailers this month.

Copenhagen NoLo wine Muri is launching in the UK this month.

Muri’s <0.5% ABV wines come in two varieties: Passing Clouds (a white wine or Champagne alternative) and Nuala (a red wine alternative).

Muri’s wine alternatives are created using innovative, layered fermentation techniques: with low alcohol yeast, Kvass and kombucha SCOBY.

“The blends are full of character and flavour which – unusually for low-alcohol beverages – further blossom in the glass, making them an exciting and delicious alternative to wine that can be enjoyed without compromise.”

Muri is already available in Copenhagen’s culinary scene, where it can be found in Michelin-starred restaurants and popular spots around the city including Popl (Noma’s new casual restaurant), Kadeau, Alouette, Kong Hans and Sushi Anaba. In the UK, it will be available via Shop Cuvee and Sager + Wilde with a RRP of £16.

Onda tequila

Sparkling RTD tequila brand Onda is launching two new flavors for the US summer: Watermelon and Blood Orange.

The brand was founded last year by Shay Mitchell; and the new flavors were created by the Onda team in collaboration with Onda Beach Club, Onda’s social community, who the brand crowdsourced to see which flavors of the award-winning sparkling tequila they wanted to see next.

The drinks use blanco tequila from a woman-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico; which is mixed with sparkling water and juice to create ‘a finished drink that tastes light and refreshing with just a hint of tequila’. Each 12 oz. can is 5% ABV, 100 calories, zero sugar, 1g carb or less, and naturally gluten free.

The two new flavors come in four-packs ($10.99) and will also be featured in a brand new Classic Collection Variety Pack ($18.99) which includes Watermelon and Blood Orange, as well as the original Lime and Grapefruit Onda.

Onda is available for purchase online in select states and in retail locations throughout CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, NJ, NY, OH, RI, TN and TX.
