Plant-based barista m*lks
Plant-based drinks brand Plenish is expanding its dairy alternatives range with the launch of three organic Barista M*lks: oat, almond and soy (pictured above).
Hitting grocery shelves in the UK this month, the move is designed to support retailers by offering broader choice in the growing barista segment, while encouraging shoppers to trade up.
“Specially formulated to deliver a silky, frothy m*lk alternative for a professional cup of coffee at home, Plenish has spent the last few years perfecting its Barista M*lks recipe to deliver perfect functionality without compromise,” says Britvic. “The barista segment is continuing to drive the plant-based category forward, having grown 21.8% in the last year alone and making up 23% of dairy alternatives (vs. 19% a year ago).
“The growth demonstrates consumer appetite for specialist products in this area and marks the importance of Plenish expanding with an option free from added oils or acidity regulators, which are commonly used in plant-based milk. This is in keeping with the brand’s ongoing commitment to using only the finest, naturally sourced ingredients.”
Plenish Barista M*lks will be available to buy in 1L cartons, Oat and Soya will have an MRSP of £2.40 and Almond will have an MRSP of £2.75.

Fiano, Rosato, Negroamaro
The Copper Crew is set to launch a new range of wines packed in 187ml cans with a fun, fresh new design in the UK.
The new-look range debuts with three new wines from Puglia in Italy.
The Copper Crew, which was acquired by Canned Wine Co. earlier this year, says the new selection will have broad appeal, providing convenience and minimal waste for the on and off-trade.
The all organic and vegan friendly range from Puglia IGP, comprises a ‘vibrant and zesty Fiano, a fresh and fruity Rosato and a smooth and silky Negroamaro’.
Wine Buyer and co-founder Ben Franks explains: “We chose to partner with Tenuta Viglione in Puglia for its fruit-forward, organic wines. The winery is situated between the Murgia Materana park and the forest of Mercadente with its vines at higher altitude, giving them a distinct freshness alongside their ripe fruit character.
"The team also shares our holistic approach to sustainability, has invested in their growers, and has exciting plans to develop its new winery and focus on wine production that will have less impact on our planet.”
