As temperatures fall, innovation is heating up as beverage innovators turn to classic fall flavors - and some surprising new ingredients.

Baileys Cinnamon Churros Irish Cream Liqueur

Baileys Cinnamon Churros Irish Cream Liqueur – a ‘tantalizing blend of smooth Irish Cream, Irish Whisky, savory cinnamon and warm vanilla notes’ – launches this month as a limited edition in the US (pictured above).

The flavor can be enjoyed over ice, poured into coffee, or shaken into cocktails. The drink can also be mixed with Reposado tequila, as a shot with Baileys Chocolate Irish Cream Liqueur, or paired with whiskey.

Starbucks' 2024 line-up

Pumpkin-spice pioneer Starbucks’ range of fall favorites is back on grocery shelves: with an assortment of autumnal coffee and creamer products in the US.

Starbucks Iced Espresso Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino Chilled Coffee, Pumpkin Spice Flavored Coffee (Nespresso/K-Cup pods) and Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Concentrate are now available across the country.

Then there's also Pumpkin Spice Flavored Creamer and non-dairy Creamer and Fall Blend Coffee, also adding to the range.

New launch Smoked Butterscotch Flavored Coffee also joins the product line-up in stores to give consumers a new flavor to try out this year.

Retail products hit the shelves ahead of the launch of pumpkin spice season across Starbucks’ stores on August 22, giving consumers a chance to get into the fall spirit early.

Pumpkin cold brew

Danone North America has launched pumpkin forward line-up with cold brew from STōK and coffee creamer from International Delight.

STōK Pumpkin Cold Brew is back on shelves for a limited time only.

The drink has been the top RTD pumpkin cold brew for the past five years.

Meanwhile, International Delight has launched a new pumpkin cold foam creamer, and pumpkin pie spice creamer.

Death Wish Coffee

Death Wish Coffee Co. has relaunched its most in-demand seasonal blend for a limited time this fall.

Pumpkin Chai is a medium roast made from Fair Trade Certified beans and features natural flavors of cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg for ‘scary good’ guild-free indulgence.

The coffee will come in 9oz ground bags and 10-count single-serve Keurig-compatible pods via Amazon, Target, Publix, Sprouts and Kroger.

Plant-based fall lattes

US plant-based company Pop & Bottle has announced two new additions to its product lineup.

Organic Pumpkin Spice Almond Milk Latte is sweetened with coconut nectar, pumpkin puree, and cinnamon extract.

Meanwhile, Snickerdoodle Cold Brew Oat Milk Latte is festive blend of organic cold brew coffee, house-made oat milk, coconut nectar, and sweet cinnamon & spice. 

Simply Spiked Cranberry

Molson Coors’ Simply Spiked has launched a seasonal release – Simply Spiked Cranberry – which comes in two varieties: Signature Cranberry and Apple Cranberry.  

The drink is made with 5% real juice that’s squeezed and then concentrated, and comes in at 5% ABV.

Since its debut in 2022, Simply Spiked launches have included Simply Spiked Lemonade, Simply Spiked Peach and Simply Spiked Limeade.

Simply Spiked Cranberry is available now in 12-packs at retailers across the US.

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee seasonal cinnamon

UK brand Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has launched a new limited-edition cinnamon roll flavor: an ‘indulgent and comforting flavor’ for fall.

The drink – which is also HFSS compliant – is described as the ideal flavor to bring new consumers into the category. In fact, 32% of consumers under 45 say the lack of interesting and new flavors within RTD coffee are a barrier to the category. And 77% of consumers find limited-edition flavors in coffee appealing.

Cinnamon Roll will be available in a 250ml can, and the launch will be supported by a full social media and marketing campaign: including sampling, advertisements, online giveaways and a TikTok influencer campaign. 

MTN DEW VOO-DEW

For the sixth year in a row and back by popular demand, Mountain Dew is continuing its Halloween tradition by releasing an all-new mystery flavor of MTN DEW VOO-DEW.

Each year, MTN DEW VOO-DEW merges a ‘mystery treat with the refreshing citrus kick of Mountain Dew’.

With the beverage unveiled last week, fans are invited to take their best guess at the mystery flavor.

MTN DEW VOO-DEW and MTN DEW VOO-DEW Zero Sugar are now available on shelves nationwide in 20 oz. bottles and 12 oz. 12-packs.
