Global wine production drops 8% and hits historical low in Europe

By the end of 2017, global wine production is projected to register an 8.2% drop to 246.7 mhl compared to 2016, with the largest declines seen in the EU which recorded a 14% drop, says the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV).
