Sidel

Pavel Shevchuk, executive VP, services, Sidel, said the companies complementary expertise will bring Sidel more commercial opportunities.

With this move, we are continuing on the journey we started back in October 2018. Then, we enriched Sidel by acquiring PET Engineering, which provides brand strategy and design consultancy, packaging design, line conversion services and molds to the beverage industry,” he said.

Today, by acquiring COMEP, we enlarge our set of capabilities even further and extend our mold and tooling portfolio.”

COMEP and Sidel will remain set on their current focuses with a go-to-market strategy to leverage their respective capabilities, while offering a full set of packaging services to companies bottling their products in PET.

Sharing best practice

We are confident each company’s expertise will prove key in meeting the growing need for complete packaging technology this industry is showing,” added Christophe Amarant, CEO, COMEP.

COMEP will represent a separate channel to market for molds and tooling. This means COMEP and Sidel will take distinct commercial approaches while sharing best practices and capitalizing on efficiencies where possible.
